Yardi User Setup and User Permissions

Here at TopUp, our friendly Yardi consultants spend their days (and sometimes nights) helping real estate professionals get more from their Yardi systems. This often includes putting together bespoke training guides and walkthroughs for our clients. So, we thought it'd be a great idea to share some of the the Yardi walkthroughs that clients have found useful.

Our task commenced with a series on Yardi's most underused features (make sure you check that out). Now, we're going to continue with a slightly more general "How to Yardi" theme where we'll produce some short guides on some of Yardi's most useful features.

The first suggestion from our own Yardi Consultancy team is on setting up new Yardi users and permissions. This is important for several reasons.

• Efficiency - Understanding how to manage user accounts is crucial for maintaining a smooth workflow and ensuring your team can work effectively with the software. By providing access only to the information a user needs to do their job, you can provide clarity and enhance efficiency. (Goodbye, information overload!).

• Security - Robust control of who has access to certain features and information within the software will help ensure data security and prevent unauthorised use.

• Consultant access - If you work with one of our Yardi Consultants, you'll need to give them a login and appropriate permissions to review your data/steup and to do their work.
